Indian Lead Battery Conference 2026

The Indian Battery Manufacturers Association (IBMA) are the organisers of the conference. This is a registered society that serves as the apex body for representing the interests of Indian battery manufacturers, recyclers, vendors, suppliers and others in the Lead acid battery ecosystem.

ILBC 2026 starts in the evening of 18th November 2026 with a Welcome Reception and Dinner, which is a networking event.

The main conference is spread over 2 days, 19th and 20th November 2026, and will end by the evening of 20th November 2026. On the evening of 19th November, there is a Gala Dinner and entertainment that serves as the main social event. This is also an occasion for informal networking.

There is an exhibition in parallel that will be open on both 19th and 20th November 2026.

The conference is focused on Lead Acid batteries and will serve as a platform for dissemination and sharing of technical papers on advancements in Lead Acid battery technology and its applications in emerging fields. This is a highly focused conference with presentations and discussions exclusively focused on this topic.

There are 4 main modules in the conference:

• Advanced SLI (Starting, Lighting and Ignition) batteries for IC engine vehicles
• Auxiliary batteries for EVs
• Data centre applications
• Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications

The conference features renowned international experts who have contributed significantly to advancements in the field of Lead Acid battery technology. The speakers and their profiles are listed on the ILBC 2026 website.

In addition, we will have key customers comprising automotive OEMs, data centre designers, BESS operators or system integrators speaking to us about their expectations. We will also have prominent battery manufacturers in India presenting their work in this area of Lead Acid battery technology.

A unique feature of the conference is a section devoted to presentations by young scientists who are carrying out pioneering work in the field of Lead Acid batteries. These are scientists, researchers and engineers who currently work in the R&D/Engineering functions of various battery companies in India.

ILBC 2026 will have all the leading battery companies in India with their senior management and R&D/engineering functions attending.

The conference will have renowned international experts who have done pioneering research in the field of Lead Acid batteries who will be speaking at the seminar. The event will also be attended by many researchers and academics from leading institutes.

IBMA has also invited leading automotive OEMs, data centre operators, energy storage system integrators and others to present their point of view at the conference.

Other attendees will include many other battery companies, leading manufacturers of equipment, vendors and other players in the ecosystem.

The conference will also have an exhibition area where various industry partners will be displaying their offerings and presenting developments and advances in manufacturing equipment, processes and materials.

Delegates are classified by category of organisational affiliation and the fees for each category of delegate are specified on the ILBC website.

The delegate fee for foreign delegates is separate and specified on the website.

There is a special discount of 10% on the base delegate fee for early bird registrations on or before 30 September 2026.

For bulk registrations, there are discounts in 2 slabs, 10% and 20%, depending on the number of registrants from the same organisation.

Registrants will have access to the full conference, the exhibition and all social events, including the Welcome Dinner on 18th November.

For guests/spouses accompanying participants, there is a special rate. This entitles accompanying guests/spouses to the social events — the Welcome Dinner on 18th November and the Gala Dinner/entertainment on 19th November — but not to the main conference or exhibition.

GST @ 18% on all delegate fees for domestic attendees and IGST @ 18% on foreign delegate fees will apply. A minor payment gateway charge will apply separately.

You will receive an email confirmation with a unique registration number that serves as an acknowledgement of your registration.

Foreign registrants may send an email confirming details of their payments to registrations@ilbc.org.in, mentioning their name and reference number of the transaction. They will then receive a confirmation.

IBMA will issue a tax invoice to all registrants. The invoice will be emailed to the email address specified at the time of registration.

This may take up to one week from the time of registration.

All cancellations on or before 9 October 2026 can be made by sending a separate email to registrations@ilbc.org.in.

We will refund amounts paid against cancellations, subject to retention of an administrative processing charge of ₹2,500 per participant. For foreign delegates, the administrative processing charge will be US$50.

Those wishing to cancel will need to provide details of the bank account into which the refund needs to be transferred in their email.

The hotel has offered special rates for ILBC delegates for the duration of the conference, covering 2 room nights on 18th and 19th November 2026.

These special rates will be valid until 15 September 2026. After this date, the room inventory will be released to the hotel.

The page on the ILBC website inviting exhibitors will be published after 25 August 2026, with details of stall dimensions, space availability and charges.

You will be able to book your stall directly through the website.

Please note that exhibition space is limited, so exhibitors should book sufficiently in advance to be assured of allocation.

Each exhibitor, regardless of the size of their stall, is entitled to 2 complimentary delegate passes.

If an organisation has registered delegates ahead of 25 August and subsequently decides to book a stall, they may write to registrations@ilbc.org.in to adjust the delegate fees for 2 delegates against the stall charges.

The adjustment will be made when booking the stall, and the organisation will receive its 2 complimentary delegate passes.

We will generate a special coupon code that can be entered during delegate registration. The coupon will allow eligible delegates to register without making a payment.

The website will automatically adjust the fees against the coupon and confirm the registration with no payment required.

Yes. Any additional delegate registrations over and above the complimentary delegate passes can be made through the normal registration process on the website.
